The Lebanese Wushu Federation proudly announces the successful participation of its national junior athletes at the 12th Asian Junior Wushu Championships, held in Jiangyin, China. Our delegation demonstrated remarkable talent, sportsmanship, and dedication across multiple categories, bringing home well-deserved results and representing Lebanon with pride.

Chris Wannis - Sanda (Fighting) - Boys 45kg
🏅 Bronze Medalist
Competed in two matches:
✅ Quarterfinal victory vs Sri Lanka
❌ Lost in the semifinal
Remarkable performance for his first major championship, confirming him as a promising talent and the future of Lebanese Wushu.
Rafic Abou Haydar - Sanda - Boys 70kg
🏅 Bronze Medalist
Advanced to the semifinals, where he faced Iran and fought with determination and courage.
A strong and disciplined performance that earned him a place on the podium.
Anibal Hamdan - Taolu
Competed in three categories:
Changquan
Daoshu
Gunshu
Achieved a notable score of 8.076 in Gunshu.
This was his first international competition, and he showed great potential as a rising star of the Lebanese Wushu Taolu team.

Dr. Georges Nseir, President of the Lebanese Wushu Federation, who traveled with the team to China. Dr. Nseir's dedication, personal involvement, and unwavering commitment to the athletes were instrumental in making this participation a success. His leadership continues to inspire the next generation of Wushu athletes.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Sharbel Wannis, honorable federation judge and father of Chris Wannis, for his valuable support and active presence throughout the competition. His encouragement and passion for Wushu left a positive impact on the entire team.
